‘Toxic’ actor Yash will start filming ‘Ramayana’ as Ravana…
Since its premiere, Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana has been in the news. Fans have been eager to see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana ever since the directors formally announced the two movies last year. New information about the movie is now being released. According to reports, Namit Malhotra, who is co-producing the two-part movie, brought Kannada star Yash to it. Nitesh Tiwari, a renowned director from Dangal, is directing the movie.
Yash’s confirmation and his dual role as producer and actor have made Ramayana one of the most anticipated films of the past few years. In a recent interview with a major media outlet, Yash openly discussed the future of the KGF franchise and revealed his role in the impending epic movie Ramayana. “If the character isn’t handled as a character today, the movie won’t happen,” the KGF star stated. Such actors have to work together to make a film on that kind of budget.
The Pan India star went on to say that the character’s depth and complexity were the main factors in her decision to play Ravana. ‘The most intriguing persona’ he’s ever offered in his career, he added. It’s a really intriguing persona. The actor went on to say, “There is therefore a great deal of room to present it in a very different way.” According to a person close to the project, Yash will begin filming the movie in March 2025. However, Sai and Ranbir have already finished the Ramayana program.
For those who are unaware, Part 1 of Ramayan will be available in January 2026, and Part 2 will follow in 2027. According to reports, TV actor Ravi Dubey may make his Bollywood debut as Lakshman, while Sunny Deol may have agreed to play Lord Hanuman and Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta may play the evil Kaikayi.
